ComProp, one of Whitbread’s development partners, has completed the first Premier Inn hotel in Guernsey in the Channel Islands.
The 100-room hotel, scheduled to open in early 2022, marks an important step towards completing Phase 1 of the development of Admiral Park in St Peter Port, home to the Premier Inn Guernsey St Peter Port (Admiral Park).
Comprop Managing Director Steve Marie said: “Everyone connected with this project has stepped up to get through this unprecedented time – maintaining our close working relationship with the planning department and being supported by local utilities and service providers, including firefighters, all of whom we would like to thank for their contribution to this important milestone. We will complete the rest of the infrastructure by the end of January and the restaurant / brewery will follow thereafter.

Whitbread is currently recruiting between 25 and 30 permanent staff for the hotel, and interested parties are encouraged to email the company directly.

Whitbread envisions an exciting 2022 in the Channel Islands as alongside the new opening in St Peter Port, Whitbread is also opening a 122-room Premier Inn on Bath Street in St Helier, Jersey in February.
Together, the new hotels expand the Premier Inn network to three locations in the Channel Islands – and a total of 319 rooms.
