Full Metal Dojo’s Fight Circus 5 on December 17 will feature “12 Christmas Fights”

The circus will be in town the week before Christmas and will bring with it several gifts of violence and comedy.

Thailand-based fight league Full Metal Dojo will hold its fifth “Fight Circus” event on December 17 at Illuzion nightclub in Phuket. According to the league’s press release, FMD will host the “12 Christmas Fights”, although not all of the “fights” are combat sports fights. The event follows his recent “Fight Circus Vol. 4” in November, where the organization suffered a long delay at the start of the broadcast when the truck carrying his ring overturned and the company had to build a new one on fight night. It’s currently unknown if “Fight Circus 5: Hanukkah Gone Wrongukkah, an Homage to Scrooged” will air on Fite.tv or another platform.

“This will be a Christmas fight show like no other,” the statement wrote. “Seriously! Have you seen what we’re doing?? Well now we’re gonna do all the weird stuff. Only with More Epic Holiday Spirit!! And good humor. Think about it? Can Santa actually beat 2 elves. At Illuzions in Phuket, the original battle island, with a super cool exclusive Christmas party. We’ll find out!”

Each match will feature a different set of rules, ranging from bodybuilders competing under modified boxing rules, people throwing themselves inside a phone booth, and even a contest where the rules change in turns. Billing order is yet to be determined, as to which fight will serve as the main event, but it is expected that the “Asymmetric MMA” fight will be the final fight on the card – especially if a contestant is dressed as Santa Claus while his opponents are dressed as Christmas elves.

As mentioned above, some encounters can be of the non-combat variety, such as a karaoke battle involving Christmas carols, a chef vs. chef affair which might involve cooking instead of knocking, and the favorite event of leg wrestling fans. The majority of “12 Christmas Fights” will see fighters battling it out for various prizes ranging from giant checks and axes to marijuana paraphernalia and even unique paint jobs.

Some of the early contests vary from a tag team slap fight consisting of Only Fans models or bodybuilder boxing. Other past favorites from previous Fight Circus shows, like “Siamese Kickboxing” of two kickboxers stuck together fighting two other equally taped kickboxers, or “Foot in the Tire Boxing” which requires both fighters to keep one foot within bounds. ‘a tire while throwing down, will be on the lineup.

The organization also introduced a unique fighting style called “Wheel of Violence,” which when created spun a wheel containing six different fighting styles, and the one it lands on is the ruleset. of this round. These styles in Fight Circus 4 include: five minutes of MMA competition, three minutes of muay thai, two minutes of spinning strikes only, 90 seconds of kicks only, 90 seconds of punches only, and 90 seconds of “Foot in the Tire Boxing” above. .” It is uncertain whether Bob Sapp is involved in this production, as he has appeared on previous shows.
