Press release

The Silavadee Pool Spa Resort becomes the first resort on Koh Samui to accept cryptocurrency.

Koh Samui, 2021 – The Silavadee Pool Spa Resort becomes the first resort on Koh Samui to accept cryptocurrency for hotel reservations worldwide.

Miss Chonlada Soonthonvasu, General Manager of Silavadee Pool Spa Resort, said: As the popularity of online booking channels increases, people are becoming more comfortable with online payments. In this digital age where people are increasingly used to cashless payments, we are constantly expanding to stay on top of current trends. To improve your booking experiences and attract more visitors from younger generations, we are looking to make our payment options more flexible, easy and secure.

Silavadee Pool Spa Resort currently accepts 3 cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum and USDT, through a partnership with “Bitazza”, ASEAN’s largest digital asset platform that provides payment solutions. The Silavadee Pool Spa Resort aspires to be the first resort on Koh Samui to accept digital assets as a payment method to expand the market.

At the moment, cryptocurrency payments are only accepted for direct bookings. Going forward, we plan to accept cryptocurrency payments through other booking channels as well as other services that accept digital currencies.
